SPORTS EVENTS IN 2009

 

Junior Swim Sports

The Year 1 and 2 swim sports were held at Tawa Pool on 31 March 2009.  This is a great event with lots of splashing, laughter, eagerness and success.  The children had been swimming in the school pool during the term and were entered into races their teachers considered them capable of.  There was running, ball pushing, egg and spoon races as well as flutter board and freestyle races.  It was an enjoyable morning for all.  Many photos were taken which have been used for story writing back at school.  Here are just a small selection of the photos.
