Learning Portfolios
This year at Papakowhai School we would like to make communication about your child's achievement more effective and engage with you in an active partnership that promotes excellence and high acheivement for your child. We have set up a Learning Portfolio as a tool to assist this communication.
As a parent or caregiver you can team-up with your child's teacher to help their education. Your child's learning is really a partnership between the school and yourself. It's not just a matter of sending your child off to school for it to educate your child. The more positive and active this partnership is, the more positive your child's education will be.
From this page we will have a number of links to help you determine how well your child is doing at Papakowhai School. Use the links to find the age group your child fits into. We will have links relating to Reading, Maths and Writing. These will be added to as time goes on. Remember that if you have an issue please see your child's teacher.
