Teaching Staff for 2010 - Papakowhai School is divided into five syndicates:

• Rata Syndicate- Mrs Foster, Mrs Trlin  Mrs Church, and Ms Boonen/Mrs Jones (who share teaching)
• Rimu Syndicate - Mrs Tennant and Miss Bracken
  
• Totara Syndicate - Mrs Brown and Mrs Abraham/Mrs Smith (who share teaching)
• Totaranui Syndicate - Mr Johnson and Mrs Laird
  
• Kauri Syndicate - Miss August and Mr Graham
