Mr Johnson's class of 2009

Mr J's class have been busy doing all sorts of things this year.  Unfortunately we do not have a photo or a recording of their harmonica playing.  This however is a pleasure to listen to - honestly.

In the footprint of Picasso

The class have studied the great Spanish artist Picasso and in particular the style known as Cubism where different elements of the fact are portrayed differently within the same portrait.  Here are a couple of examples of what was produced.

   

Scrafitto

This is an art form where the children colour in a blank page with pastels.  All the white is used up.  It is then painted with black and once dry they scratch out their art.  In these pictures the children have made wheels which tell us a little about them.
