About Papakowhai School

Papakowhai School is a full primary school with a roll of approximately 300 students. There are currently 12 classrooms in the school.  An excellent support staff run the administration and library areas, and support students in the classroom.

The school Board of Trustees, Principal, staff and parents work together to achieve common goals. The school has an open door policy and encourages good communication between parents and teachers. Parents and the wider community take an active role in their children's learning and school activities.

The school is separated into five teaching syndicates from New Entrants to Year 8. Teachers work together in syndicates to plan and provide whole school programmes to meet the learning needs of students and prepare them for the future.

There are many school-wide events that make Papakowhai School a special place to be educated.
