Swimming Sport
The school Swimming Sports are held every year during Term One. Two separate events are held - the junior event for years 1 to 3 is held at Tawa Pool in the learners pool, while the senior event is held at Cannons Creek Pool. Students are encouraged to enter at least two races. The races accomodate all swimming abilities from those learning water confidence to those with amazing swimming skills.
The school is organised into three Whanau Groups. Children accumulate points for their Group by entering races. The Whanau group relays are a highlight of the day. Fun races are also very memorable and provide plenty of entertainment.
