Swimming Sport
The school Swimming Sports are held every year during Term One. Three separate events are held - the junior event for years 1 to 3 is held at Tawa Pool in the learners pool, while the middle school and the senior school events are held in Cannons Creek Pool. Students are encouraged to enter at least two races. The races accomodate all swimming abilities from those learning water confidence to those with amazing swimming skills.
The school is organised into three Whanau Groups. Children accumulate points for their Group by entering races. The Whanau group relays are a highlight of the day. Fun races are also very memorable and provide plenty of entertainment.
