After School Care
Our school runs an after school care service from 3pm to 6pm Monday to Friday during school term. Children from Papakowhai School (and at times from other schools) attend this programme which is run in the school hall. Both fulltime and casual care is available.
The service provides:
- A safe, fun and happy environment
- A nutricious afternoon snack and drinks
- Art and craft
- Computer access
- TV and videos
- Books, puzzles and games
- Indoor and outdoor group games
- A quiet area for homework
We are OSCAR approved and subsidies may be available to help with the childcare costs. OSCAR subsidy application forms are available on request.
All caregivers wishing to use this service must have completed the registration forms prior to making bookings.
